On Tuesday 10th June, CORD by Le Cordon Bleu hosted A Bite of Shanghai, an exclusive evening that celebrated the rich culinary heritage of Shanghai. The dinner, led by renowned Chinese Chef Ren Defeng, marked the London debut of the globally recognised “Chinese Cuisine World Expression” series.
Following the success of the inaugural event in Paris last year, the one-night-only experience showcased Le Cordon Bleu’s dedication to honouring culinary traditions from around the world. Guests were treated to a refined tasting menu inspired by centuries of Shanghai gastronomy, blending cultural authenticity with artistic presentation.
The event also reflected Le Cordon Bleu’s ongoing commitment to global culinary exchange. As the institution marked its 130th anniversary and the 10th anniversary of its Shanghai campus, A Bite of Shanghai served as a tribute to the vibrant dialogue between Eastern and Western culinary excellence.
